In 2007, Sara moved to Chicago to pursue her graduate studies in Chemical Engineering at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Shortly after welcoming her first child in 2011, she purchased her first home, followed by an investment property in 2012. In 2014, Sara relocated to Blacksburg after earning her PhD to take on a role as a research associate at Virginia Tech. By 2016 just before the birth of her second child, she purchased another home in Blacksburg, further fueling her real estate ambitions. After the birth of her second child, she chose to focus on her family and pivoted her career towards real estate full-time.
